1. Who we are
TomeLens is a browser extension made by the TomeLens developer, an independent developer based in Costa Rica ("we" or "us"). By installing TomeLens or buying TomeLens Pro, you agree to these terms.
2. What TomeLens does
TomeLens adds research information to Kindle Store search pages and Kindle book pages you open on amazon.com. The free version includes badges, filters, sorting, a page overview, and a book's Best Sellers Rank with estimated sales. TomeLens Pro adds the opportunity score, what the books you open sell, pricing, title keywords, royalty estimates, research across your searches and CSV export, and requires a valid license key. Its figures are estimates from what Amazon shows: sales are estimated from the Best Sellers Rank, and royalties follow KDP's published rates, which Amazon can change. They are not financial advice.
3. Buying Pro
- Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and reseller of TomeLens Pro. Your purchase is also covered by the Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms.
- Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the link in your receipt email, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
4. Your license
Buying Pro gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use TomeLens Pro in up to 3 browsers at a time. You may not share your license key publicly, resell it, or try to bypass the license check. We may deactivate keys that are shared or abused.
5. Using TomeLens with Amazon
- TomeLens is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Amazon. Amazon, Kindle and Kindle Direct Publishing are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
- TomeLens is read-only: it doesn't click, buy or load extra pages on Amazon. You remain responsible for following Amazon's and KDP's own terms.
- Amazon can change its website at any time, which may temporarily break some features. We'll work to restore them promptly.
6. Data and privacy
How we handle data is described in our privacy policy.
7. No guarantees
TomeLens is provided "as is". Sales, royalty and opportunity figures are estimates based on the Amazon pages you are viewing. They are not a guarantee of sales, rankings or income.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for TomeLens Pro in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page with a new date. If you keep using TomeLens after a change, the updated terms apply.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, except where the consumer laws of your country give you additional rights.
